Learning Objectives Day 1:

At the conclusion of Day 1, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the key elements of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in light of how intelligence is traditionally valued.
  2. Evaluate Pediatric ACES and Related Childhood Experiences Screener (PEARLS) as a predictor of negative health outcomes.
  3. Analyze the effectiveness of various treatments for anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
  4. Identify risk and protective factors for teen suicide.
  5. Describe the core tenants of Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders.
