On April 7, 2019, 23 enthusiastic riders gathered at Cyclebar Carmel Rancho for a CycleGiving ride benefitting AIM Youth Mental Health.

The event was a huge success, raising a total of $1,080 for youth mental health research.

Riders strolled in on a red carpet and were greeted with an AIM t-shirt while getting fitted for cycling shoes. Many were new to cycling and were there to support AIM’s mission.

Participants headed into the studio where they tackled a heart-pumping, 45-minute ride led by CycleStar Susan, whose personal motto is “progress not perfection”. The ride included a carefully curated playlist that nodded to the strength and tenacity of many who struggle with their mental health. You can check out the playlist by clicking here.

After the ride, participants enjoyed drinks and snacks in the lobby.

We would like to thank Lindsey, Heather, and the entire Cyclebar team for making it such a great event and we would especially like to thank our raffle prize donors – Alvarado Street Brewing Company, Carmel Craft Brewing, Coffee Bank, Eff Perfect, and Lululemon Monterey. Thanks to their thoughtful donations, we were able to raise in an additional $300 during the event.
