As a trainer, mentor, and advocate, he’s passionate about encouraging boys of color to speak openly about their mental health and know that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, Salu reminds us that vulnerability is powerful, growth isn’t a race, and trusting your own timeline is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. 💙

Through the AIM Ideas Lab 2026 Report, research found that teen mental health challenges are deeply connected. Students aren’t only dealing with school stress or anxiety separately. Many are balancing academic pressure, family stress, isolation, lack of sleep, and emotional exhaustion all at once. ⁠

The findings show how overlapping pressures can compound and affect students’ daily lives, relationships, and well-being.⁠
