School and Community Partnerships

AIM partners with schools, districts, and community organizations to amplify youth voice through Youth Participatory Action Research and empower young people to identify and advocate for solutions within their communities. Through our youth programs, AIM Ideas Lab and AIM Youth Ambassadors, we bring this work directly into schools and communities, expanding access and engaging students with diverse perspectives and lived experiences.

Students are not passive recipients – they are active contributors, using research to understand challenges, develop solutions, and take action through advocacy. This approach creates a clear pathway from research to real-world impact, strengthening both student outcomes and school communities.

Flexible Partnership Models

We offer partnership models designed to reflect each community’s priorities. Programs can take place during the fall or spring semesters, with flexibility in how student participation is structured. We work with partners to determine the number of participating students and overall approach to engagement, based on what best fits your school or district’s needs and priorities.

We also offer a sliding scale model to support accessibility and ensure that partnerships are structured in a way that is feasible and sustainable.
