Evelyn Belasco

Grant Writer

Evelyn supports AIM Youth Mental Health as a grant writer, crafting proposals that bring AIM’s story to life and build meaningful connections with funders. She brings a background in storytelling, having spent 20 years in the entertainment industry as a director and script supervisor in children’s television, and now applies those skills to her work in the non-profit sector.

She believes the best use of time is supporting others, and tries to let empathy, kindness, and compassion guide both her work and her life. At AIM, Evelyn is passionate about shaping narratives that connect funders and communities to AIM’s vision for a world of mentally healthy youth, ensuring the resources are in place for students to lead meaningful change.

Evelyn is a native Californian and born-and-raised beach bum, happiest when walking on the sand, lounging by the waves, or swimming in the ocean. She enjoys gardening, cooking for friends, and heading out on adventures with her husband, son, and their two dogs, Domino and Kugel.
